Moving Day. I've had a lot of these in the last few years.

I can't get enough of these tulips. As far as I'm concerned they are miracles of nature of the highest order. I really am capable of taking pictures of things besides flowers.

Chewed Tulips

Maybe I just need to live on hilarious quips and pithy conversation. Or maybe I could live on photos of flowers. Flowers and children. I think I could live on those, or at least on taking them. . . . → Read More: Chewed Tulips

Picking all the flowers in the world

I'm still here. There is so much going on. So much. I'm suffering from worrying about the Observer Effect. You know, by observing something you change the outcome? By blogging about certain things I will change the outcome. Or, so it feels.

I'll show you a Wyckie How.

I'm struck by how much nonsense, boring writing (this blog not excluded) and worst of all, bad or lame information there is up on the internet in the form of blogs. I think the worst are the static or niche blogs, or the obviously paid-by-the-pixel articles. I found one that looked like this:

Do not resist. It's more entertaining this way.

Did you know that Creamies have no gluten? Normally I am not a fan of ice cream unless I'm pregnant or binging.

This is me at 19 weeks 2 days with my fourth baby. I'd been addicted to yoga and pilates. I didn't look this good with my first. Ignore the dirty mirror and the fact that I HAD TO TAKE MY OWN BELLY SHOTS.

My weekend part II, or always carry a toothbrush.

Hey, Fishbone is giving a free concert in Park City and a bunch of my photographer friends have rented a room with a view for a party. Wanna come?

Why yes. Yes I would.

5 years ago, my daughter Hazel was born, and I was born a mother again.

This is long, so long, but I wanted to share. I cannot believe it has been five years since this day. What a day it was. And what a beautiful girl my Hazel is today. (More on that later.) For now, here's the story of how she arrived. For backstory, Bill is my ex-husband, Cheryl was a friend, I was a trained doula and had plans to be a certified nurse midwife, the baby had been breech for the last several weeks despite my best efforts to get her to turn on her own, and I was rapidly developing serious pre-eclampsia.

What would Wyckie buy?

There's only one way to describe this: Kitchen Porn

Like I said, I love window shopping, I love finding the best of something and sharing it with my friends, and I've been an internet shopper since you had to get a money order at the post office to buy something on Ebay. No, really. I remember when PayPal was invented.
