Moving Day. I've had a lot of these in the last few years.

I can't get enough of these tulips. As far as I'm concerned they are miracles of nature of the highest order. I really am capable of taking pictures of things besides flowers.

But tell me, how can I resist these? LOOK AT THIS FLOWER. IT WILL BE GONE FOREVER SOON. I HAD TO PHOTOGRAPH IT.

The gorgeousness. I can't get enough.

Ahem. Thank you for indulging me. Unfortunately, you know the roses and peonies are coming up next, right? The parade of flowers is never going to end.

What else is going on? I can sit here for oh, another 30 seconds as I finish my breakfast. Two of my favorite guys are going to be here in about an hour to move every bit of goodmama out of my house. Yes, I keep going back and forth, all in my house, all out of my house, all in my house. I can't make up my mind how I want to work, apparently.

Right now the plan is one of the rooms in the office is going to be the kid room with books, wii, computer, chairs, snacks, and who-knows-what-else and I'm taking them to work with me and working at work. It will just be Sam, age 13, and Hazel, age 5, with me, since Olivia, age 10, and Henry, age 8, are in year-round school and "get to" spend June attending public school! (Poor kids.)

Then in the afternoons we are going to go do fun stuff like me sleep in the sun while they play in the kiddie pool, I mean, while we play in the pool together, or go to the library or planetarium movies.

I've been taking them to the office with me for a while now and they seem to be used to it and will be even more entertained when I have more kid-friendly stuff there, though I gotta be honest. They seem really happy being allowed to play inside large boxes with markers to decorate them, and building Sim houses. Yesterday three of them were curled up together in one chair in front of the iMac, building a mansion with the cheat code that Ryan's daughter gave them. I need one of those codes, the one that makes it so I don't require sleep. Or, heck, I'd take not ever having to pee. Think of the time saved!

That's the plan and I'm stickin' to it. I'll let you know how it goes, of course.

So, my dad and Ryan are both bringing trucks and we are moving shelves and diapers and bins and filing cabinets and heck-knows-what back to the office. See, aren't you glad you didn't get a photo of THAT?

Speaking of which, my 30 seconds are long up.
