Fading flowers are more interesting to me
Am I accurately reporting what I see in such a blossom?
The answer is no … and yes.

I know photographs of flowers are, um, common, to say the least. But one could argue everything beautiful is common. And isn't that the most beautiful part, that lovely things are everywhere? Flowers are common and rare at the same time because even though every week or so the riot of flowers changes types, you only see crocuses or daffodils or tulips or apple tree blossoms or irises or sunflowers at certain times of the year. So while I can still go outside right now and with a little looking find an entire roadside full of irises, they are fleeting. Abundant and fleeting.
Besides I can't help myself.
hi there! thanks for the tweet, i am here as promised. and i'm so glad i came because i love your photos, they just made me so much more cheerful than i was when i woke up. i was already having a pretty good day, but now i'm gonna have a great one. all because of your pictures
. i'm sorry we didn't get to meet at CBC! or at least i don't think we did…the weekend is kind of a blur. anyway, maybe some day it will happen for us.
alexis´s last blog ..don't judge the grudge.
I'm so glad you like my photos. I feel like a dork sometimes, taking the pictures I do, but they make me happy and it makes me feel a little less dorky to know they make other people happy too.
I don't think we met at CBC, I guess I should have gone to the depression panel. Honestly, I suffer from it periodically, and is it weird that I sometimes avoid the topic in order to keep it at bay?
I loved your last entry, don't judge the grudge. And who wants all sunshine and rainbows anyway? Life needs spice and a little blackening on the meat.
